| We are still looking to enhance our offerings for our children, adolescents, and teens. Please consider developing a class or group to help them. BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 20 TARIFFVILLE/SIMSBURY - Enlightened Way Wellness Center Children's Stress Reduction Classes Enlightened Way Wellness will offer after school classes for children ages 5-12 beginning September 20th. Classes will focus on improving self-expression, self-regulation strategies, learning some cognitive-behavioral skills, as well as relaxation techniques, including yoga, mindfulness, and mini-meditation. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 9 BURLINGTON - The Sacred Journey Center for Spiritual Studies Shamanism for Children - JOYCE ST. GERMAINE, M.ED. This highly interactive workshop is the foundation for an on-going children's shamanism group that will meet every other month. Single time attendees are also welcome. We are building a circle of compassionate children of all ages to learn about the interactions between humans and animals, plants, minerals, and the natural elements as we become aware of the living spirit energy in all things. Children are natural shamans and today they will be safely guided and accompanied on a journey to meet or re-connect with a power animal and develop a closer relationship with the natural and spiritual worlds. Practical suggestions will be shared so that children can strengthen and build upon this power animal relationship at home.
